Swim Season 2011

Spring time is here, and as the sun begins to warm things up here in the Inland Empire, our swimmers warm up things in the pool as we dig in and and start building for our 2011 swim meets. Swim season offers both coach and swimmer the opportunity to focus in on the finer points and essential mechanics of speed in the water. As we spend our time learning about ourselves, about the water, getting fast and having fun, we look forward to seeing you all at our home meets and hearing you cheer us on in our races.

This is a bittersweet time for Ramona Swim as this is the last swim season in our current pool, which has been the home of over 35 years of swim and water polo here at Ramona. This December, demolition of the old pool and construction of our new facility(featured to the left) will begin, meaning that come springtime 2012 we will be going elsewhere for practice while at home we watch as our exciting new facility comes to life. Thank you to everyone who has help make Ramona Aquatics something to be proud of, and thank you also to your continued dedication to our program and our kids.
